Welcome to Loxahatchee Animal Rescue Community

Loxahatchee Animal Rescue Community (LARC) is a “small fish with big dreams” 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue with a team of individuals who share the same mission; helping dogs and humans in need of a second chance. Our goals are to provide love, safety, care, and the best forever families possible for the dogs who join our organization. In addition, we strive to change the lives of the men who join our prison dog training program, the Pawsitive Direction Program (please see the “Pawsitive Direction Program” page for details).

To keep our mission moving forward, it takes the help of many wonderful people. Our supporters come in many forms and it is because of those who believe in us and foster, adopt, volunteer, donate, and/or share our efforts, that we can continue to reach our goals and grow as an organization. We are so lucky and so thankful.
